Mechirat Hametz (Sale of Hametz)
Because Jews are not allowed to own hametz (leaven) during the holiday, it is praiseworthy to consume and/or donate as much hametz as possible in advance of Pesach. Any hametz that you are unable to remove should be sold. If you would like to sell your hametz through the PJC please click here and submit the form. You can also stop by the office to add your name to the list.
To sell your hametz through the PJC you must do so by Wednesday, 4/1 at 8:30am.
Ta’anit Bechorim Minyan and Siyyum
As usual, we’ll preempt the Fast of the First Born with a siyyum and seudat mitzvah (a celebratory meal) on Wednesday, 4/1 @ 7:30am. We’ll burn hametz later that morning at approximately 9:30.
