Welcome to the Pelham Jewish Center
We are an egalitarian synagogue committed to fostering a rich, communal Jewish life through prayer, study, social action, and outreach to the unaffiliated. We have a Hebrew school, adult education programs, youth groups, and social action programs. Our relatively small size and proximity to New York City have allowed us to develop a community that is both close-knit and cosmopolitan. We are fortunate to still have some of the PJC's elderly founding members, many families with babies and young children, many families with teens, many "empty nest" couples whose children grew up at the PJC, and singles.  We have a diverse membership consisting of people from all backgrounds and experiences with Jewish observance, including interfaith couples.  All Are Welcome! All Are Encouraged to Participate!

High Holidays Children's Program Request
As the childrens' activities are being planned for the High Holiday services, we have found that the PJC is in need of any unused board games you may have and wish to donate.
Games geared toward older children/teens (eg., Apples to Apples, Taboo, Uno) would be especially useful.
Please bring any board games in good condition, with all playing pieces included, to the PJC office.
Thank you for supporting a good cause!
